We made it to whitefish yesterday and are spending the day enjoying the weather and family. Off to Alberta tomorrow...

Bozeman, Montana

We arrived in Bozeman last night and had a nice breakfast on the patio this morning. Took a stroll through the Montana State University campus and past "the animal house" where Erik used to live! It is a bit smokey in town from the fires near by. We are now 1900 miles into our trip...Now onto Whitefish...

Estes Park, Colorado

We made it to Colorado (approx 1100 miles total do far) and have had a great day of hiking and sight seeing!
We hiked lily mountain this morning and then did a drive to the highest point in rocky mountain national park.

Stopped at Cadillac Ranch on our way out of Amarillo. Very random place.

End of day 1: 615 miles

We made it to Amarillo just in time to catch the sunset and take a walk in Palo Duro Canyon State Park! Tomorrow: Estes Park, Colorado

Houston we have a problem...

The morning is off to a roaring start! Erik was checking tire pressure in the trailer before we left and found a nail in the tire. Clearly Uhaul has a very stringent inspection procedure!
Once roadside assistance arrives we will try this again... The last photo is Erik riding to McDonald's to get us breakfast as we wait...

So the journey begins...

Today is packing day. We load up and head out Alberta bound tomorrow morning!
